Tango Tenors

Tango Tenors is a concert programme by Argentine-Italian tenor Rolando Guy and pianist-tenor Gaston Efficace, celebrating the emotional worlds of Argentine tango, Neapolitan song and the Italian vocal tradition. With a repertoire that connects Buenos Aires, Naples and the lyric stage, the evening combines the sensual melancholy of tango with the direct emotional power of Italian song. Carlos Gardel, Astor Piazzolla, Neapolitan canzonettas and well-known operatic moments meet in a programme shaped by voice, piano, rhythm and theatrical presence. Tango Tenors is not a conventional classical recital, but a vivid musical journey: passionate, elegant, nostalgic and full of character.
